FLEMINGTON, NJ
Hunterdon County, New Jersey, is the home of the town of Flemington. We’re located in the New York metro area, so we are the perfect location for your well-deserved weekend getaway. Settler Samuel Fleming founded this community, which gained notoriety during the Lindbergh kidnapping case in 1935. Flemington was the site of the trial of Bruno Hauptmann. Shopping, dining, architecture, education, hiking, biking, festivals—the list of activities goes on and on. There is never a lack of things to do here in Flemington—you can even take a balloon ride! Once your feet are back on the ground, check in to a charming bed and breakfast, where you can sleep in quiet luxury and enjoy a good hot breakfast. Now you’re ready for more of our town. Check out the Model Railroad Museum, galleries, the steam railroad, Fleming Castle, Doric House, our factory outlets—even the 4H Fair. We could go on and name more, but that would take valuable time when you could be making your reservations! “A perfect example of a nineteenth century county seat”; those are the words of John Maass, who writes about Victorian architecture. Don’t miss out! |
